Desa Group 

DESA was founded in 1972 by the Celet family in Istanbul with the purpose creating and producing luxury leather goods for the international market. 

Over time, the company has vertically as well as horizontally integrated and become conglomerate encompassing a Tannery In Corlu, a Handbag Facility in Duzce and HQ in Istanbul producing SLG and Leather Garments. 

Today the Group has 4 factories (3 in Turkey and 1 in Italy), 116 retail shops and offices in London, Düsseldorf, Plovdiv and Milan. 

DESA is a public company quoted in Istanbul Stock Exchange since 2004 and employs ca 2,000 direct operatives. 

The Group is also the JV partner of the travel ware brands Samsonite/Tumi for more than 40 years and undertakes all retail and distribution operations of the Samsonite Group brands in Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Syria and Northern Cyprus.
